To install the Bio Bidet?
The Bio Bidet requires a water supply and mains electricity. The Bio Bidet is the only electronic bidet seat with WRAS approval for direct connection to the water main in the UK. It would normally be plumbed into the water supply feeding the toilet cistern (using the flexible hose and Tee connector supplied) provided the pressure is at least 0.4 bar. The Bio Bidet is equipped with a power cord that can be plugged into a standard domestic power socket. When fitted in a bathroom it would normally be connected via a switched spur box and RCD. This should be done by a qualified electrician.

WRAS approval
WRAS approval signifies that the Bio Bidet meets the requirements of the Water Regulations Advisory Scheme for backflow prevention and may legally be connected to the water main in the UK. Connection of non-approved products is illegal because of the potential contamination of the mains water supply.

Does the Bio Bidet require any routine maintenance?
The only user maintenance required is the occasional removal and cleaning of the lime scale filter and the occasional cleaning of the nozzle with a soft toothbrush.

Will the Bio Bidet fit any toilet?
The Bio Bidet fits most conventionally shaped toilet pans.

BB-1000 and BB-800 electronic bidet toilet seats can be installed on two-piece toilets with round bowls.
The tank and the bowl on 2 piece toilets are separate and are connected to each other upon installation.
The Bio Bidet fits best on a standard round toilet pan with a flat top surface measuring at least 500mm from the extreme front edge to the rear of the pan ... or to the front surface of the cistern, on a close-coupled toilet. The distance from the centre line of the seat fixing holes to the front edge of the toilet bowl should be 419mm +/- 20mm. The spacing between the centres of the seat fixing holes on the pan should be between 140mm and 195mm. If you have any doubt about the suitability of the Bio Bidet for your toilet, please contact us for advice. The static weight limit for the Bio Bidet seat is 21 stone (133kg).
